Early in 2004 I joined Mondiale Freight Services in Auckland.
I managed a small team of database programmers and system operators.
Administering 300+ workstations running a combination of Windows XP, 2000, and 98. I maintained 2 Windows Terminal Servers, 1 Microsoft SQL server. I was the System Administrator for a subsidiary company called Monarch Fulfilment Services. This company is primarily a Linux based operation. I administered 1 IBM e-series server, which run Redhat customized by IBM, and tuned for database performance. Informix and its associated applications, based on 4Jās client application is the primary technical specification for this company.
I maintained a Samba based Primary Domain Controller, postfix IMAP server, and apache / PHP / MySQL web server. Also a number of IP printing modules, RF handheld equipment, and Laptops for the executive team.

In 2003 I decided to try sole trading, and self employment. This has broadened my Business development skills, and has further honed my customer services skills.
